Why a Catamaran?

A catamaran is more comfortable than a monohull, both under sail and at anchor.

Under sail a catamaran is able to sail efficiently in the lightest breeze. When the wind pipes up, a catamaran is exciting and fast, without the uncomfortable heeling (leaning over) of a monohull. The wide, flat decks make it easy to move around and the minimal heeling decreases anxiety for those who are new to sailing.  The stability & space make it a perfect platform for whale watching, photography, learning something new, or just kicking back.

At anchor the boat does not roll, making everything easier, from cooking to reading to moving around. The catamaran has a HUGE amount of deck area (almost 1000 sq. ft.) so there is lots of outdoor space to enjoy.

The interior is very comfortable and spacious. Accommodations include four heated double staterooms and two heads (bathrooms) with hot showers. The large salon between the hulls has eye level, 360 degree views, providing a dramatic backdrop to enjoy during meals, social time, and classes.
