Overnight Charters
Overnight charters of 1-6 nights are available. 3 Levels of service are offered aboard Gato Verde to provide flexibility for budgets and workload:

Bellingham's exclusive provider of small group skippered day sailing. Cost is just $25/person/hour*. Groups of 6-12 are $150/hour**. You are welcome to bring your own food & beverages or they can be provided by special arrangement. Call or e-mail for availability.
Sunset Cruises will be departing from the Bellingham Cruise Terminal in Historic Fairhaven from June 1 - Sept 15 when available. Departure one hour before sunset for a beautiful and relaxing 1.5-2 hour cruise. Cost: $35/per person. Call or e-mail for availability & reservations.

A custom educational charter with Captain Todd cruising the waters of the San Juan Islands and British Columbia (if desired). A fun, general sailing & outdoor education curriculum*
A focused educational charter with Captain Todd and the general curriculum* plus an expert in whatever the focus of that expedition (biologist, photographer, ornithologist etc.).
General curriculum can include: Sailing, Navigation & Passage Planning, Electronics, Wildlife Viewing, Fishing, Oceanography, Meteorology, Outdoor Living, Natural & Social History, and Leadership.
A traditional skippered charter allowing you to completely relax and enjoy the experience (or a good book).
2-3 Night Live Aboard Whale Watching Trip
Spend three to four days blissfully cruising around the Puget Sound with a special focus on finding the resident Orca (Killer Whale) pods. Whale watching aboard the Gato Verde is unique because of the combination of sails and virtually silent electric motors. You can observe the Orcas knowing that we are contributing only a small fraction of the noise and polution that an average whale watching boat creates. We also have the ability to listen to the Killer Whale's underwater world with our amplified hydrophone...hear the orcas hunt, navigate and communicate...it is amazing. please call or e-mail for availability
Charters for special events such as the annual "Vancouver Celebration of Light" international fireworks competition or the numerous arts and music festivals in the area are available too. These would be similar to the educational charter or a carefree skippered charter plus time set aside to enjoy the specific event. Depending on the wishes of those aboard, we can anchor in secluded or urban anchorages to enjoy the show. Call for dates & prices
